So instead of a max skill cheats value of 10, enter a 4 to set your sim’s preferred skill level at a 4. If you don’t want to completely max out your sim’s max skill cheats, you can set your sim’s preferred skill level to any level that you’d like by changing the number in the cheat code. I suggest using copy & paste from your browser into the game cheat console to prevent any typos. To ensure that these skill cheats work properly, make sure you have ‘testingcheats’ turned on in the cheat console, you’ve clicked on the sim that you want testing cheats to level up, and that the cheat code is typed correctly.
You can close the cheat console by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C again. To use sims 4 cheat codes, open up the cheat console by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C and type in ‘testingcheats on’, then type in the skills cheat.
